Tweed’s full curriculum, scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2020 ,will include a seventeen-week semester at our downtown Athens location and a ten-week semester at our Southern Mill location in Athens.  The downtown Athens facilities will focus on audio engineering for recording studios and live sound. The Southern Mill facilities will focus on sound for the cinematic arts including, dubbing, scoring, ADR, SDR, and Foley.

In addition to preparing graduates for jobs with the recording and film industry’s biggest companies, the curriculum will be centered around the idea of mentoring and creating entrepreneurship. This means the graduating student can go out and start their own content-based engineering and producing opportunities, recording studios, bands, and record labels. Applicants can be recent college or high school grads, experienced professionals looking to enter the expanding field of audio engineering, and even seasoned veterans of the recording industry looking to upgrade or expand their professional capacities.
