Beginning in August 2020, Tweed Recording’s full curriculum will consist of a seventeen week semester at our downtown Athens location, with a focus on audio engineering and production for recording studios, live sound and music “in-the-box.” In addition to preparing graduates for jobs with the recording and entertainment industry’s biggest companies, Tweed Recording’s curriculum is centered around the idea of mentoring and creating entrepreneurship. This means the graduating student can start their own recording studios, bands, record labels, or other content-based engineering and production opportunities.  Applicants can be recent college or high school graduates, experienced professionals looking to enter the expanding field of audio engineering, or even seasoned veterans of the recording industry looking to upgrade or expand their professional capacities.
