Sae’Von Springer

Electronic Music Production

A native of Atlanta, GA and graduate of The University of Georgia, Springer’s life path has uniquely prepared him for his current role at Tweed Recording. Though most commonly known today for his rap prowess and unique production Springer started out as a classically trained Double Bassist who stepped away from music to focus on his entrepreneurial and athletic career – both of which provided him with ample opportunity to teach and connect with others in distinct and varying ways.

Two years into his undergrad program Sae’Von found his way back to his passion through rap as a member of the “Autumn Saints” performing with the group at various shows and events including performances at Atlanta’s iconic “The Masquerade” & “Athens’ annual “AthFest”. Quickly he found himself as the defacto engineer for the music group before he opted to focus on his solo career, further accelerating his commitment to learning everything he could about digital audio and production.

After considering pursuing a job leveraging his Psychology and Spanish skillset, he chose the path less traveled – dedicating his absolute focus to music for more than a year immediately after graduation. In this period he collaborated with many different creators including visual artist James Gillespie, musician and producer Alec Stanley of Gift Horse Studios, and drummer Tim Very of Manchester Orchestra.

What Our Students Are Saying

My instructor’s been pretty awesome, his name’s Nate. He taught me to use Ableton. He’s super knowledgeable and I’ve enjoyed the process of how we’ve been doing it so far.

– Sean

I had a wonderful experience with your staff and faculty, y’all truly care and seem to have a vested, true interest in our well being in and outside of the facility. In fact, I am quite stunned at the degree to which I was helped with my problems.
