ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Tweed’s Audio Production Certificate Program is a hands-on, in-person training experience built for students who want real-world studio skills and a direct path into the music industry.

Over the course of 20 weeks, students train inside professional studios, work with industry-standard equipment, and gain practical experience in recording, editing, mixing, and production.

This program is built for aspiring producers, engineers, artists, and creatives who want more than theory. It is focused on real application, real mentorship, and real studio time.

  • 20-week certificate program
  • In person in Athens, Georgia
  • Monday through Friday, 10 AM–5 PM
  • Hands-on, studio-based learning

THE EXPERIENCE

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Hands-on studio training in a professional, real-world environment
  • Learn Pro Tools and Ableton Live while working with real artists
  • Full-time, in-person program in Athens, GA (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–5 PM + after-hours studio time… it runs like a full-time job)
  • Attendance is required and closely monitored throughout the program
  • Program runs August 3 through December 18, 2026
  • Credits are not transferable to other colleges or universities

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

  • Applicants must complete the full application process by June 1, 2026
  • This includes all required questionnaires, documentation, a tour (in-person or Zoom), and an interview with Tweed’s CEO
  • Applicants must meet all program requirements, including holding a high school diploma or GED
  • The Admissions Committee will review all applicants and select one recipient
  • This scholarship covers tuition for the Audio Production Certificate Program and is not redeemable for cash

APPLICATION TIMELINE

  • Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by June 8, 2026
  • The selected student must submit a $300 seat reservation fee to secure their spot and cover supply costs
  • Submission of an application or entry does not guarantee admission or selection
