Tweed’s Facilities
Studio A features two historic recording consoles. The main console is a one of a kind Sound Techniques ZR32 console. Our live console, the Manor Mobile Helios, will be used to connect our mix room to the Georgia Theatre across the street to record performances. The rack of outboard gear features a wonderful history of analog gear used on some of the greatest records ever made. The outboard gear will give a student the one on one opportunity to compare the original pieces of gear to the popular plug in used in todays digital audio workstations. The studio room features two isolation booths that can be used for final overdubs on projects as well as all things ADR recording. Studio A will also be used to teach mixing and analog to digital transferring.
The DAW lab is a 24-space workstation classroom. The stations are connected to each other as well as to Studios A, B, and C via a DANTE network. Each station features Pro Tools with UA audio arrows, Presonus fader ports, Ableton Push, and a Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A25 midi controller.
What Students Are Saying

The classroom is really cool. We have everything we need right in front of us to learn the different Digital Audio Workstations.

The Lewis Room is a great venue for music. It sounds great and it’s intimate enough so it almost feels like you’re on stage with the performers.
