Our custom built facilities include learning spaces, recording studios, a venue, and meeting spaces. It’s an ideal place to learn audio production skills.
Tweed’s Facilities
Studio A features two historic recording consoles. The main console is a one of a kind Sound Techniques ZR32 console. Our live console, the Manor Mobile Helios, will be used to connect our mix room to the Georgia Theatre to record performances. The rack of outboard gear features analog gear used on some of the greatest records ever made. This gear will give students the opportunity to compare the original gear to the popular plug-in used in today’s digital audio workstations. Studio A features two isolation booths that can be used for final overdubs and ADR recording and will be used to teach mixing and analog to digital transferring.
The Lewis Room at Tweed Recording is a versatile 2,000 square foot live music and event venue that serves as a creative space for the local creative economy. The Lewis Room is also available to rent for private events and productions, including live session recording, pop-up events, live & pre-recorded video productions, industry panels, and more!
