ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Tweed’s Live Audio Production Certificate Program is a hands-on, in-person training experience built for students who want real-world live sound experience and a direct path into the music industry.
Over the course of 15 weeks, students train in professional venues, work with industry-standard consoles and gear, and gain practical experience in front of house mixing, monitor engineering, system deployment, signal flow, live event recording, and production.
This program is built for aspiring live sound engineers, audio technicians, production crew members, artists, and creatives who want more than theory. It is focused on real application, real mentorship, and real experience in the fast-paced world of live audio.

This opportunity is built for someone ready to commit, learn, and take a real step toward a career in audio.
- 15-week certificate program
- Part-time, in-person program in Athens, GA
- No studios involved. You will work in venues, at festivals, events, and other live production environments.
- The program meets Monday through Wednesday, 9am – 1pm, with a few live events required outside of class.
- Hands-on learning in real-world live production settings.
- Designed for those wanting to work in live event production.

- Hands-on training in professional live event and production environments
- Learn industry-standard live audio equipment, consoles, signal flow, and system setup
- Part-time, in-person program in Athens, GA
- Gain experience with front of house mixing, monitor engineering, live event recording, and production workflows
- Attendance is required and closely monitored throughout the program
- Fall 2026 cohort begins September 8 and ends December 18, 2026
- Credits are not transferable to other colleges or universities

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
- Applicants must complete the full application process by August 7, 2026
- This includes all required questionnaires, documentation, a Admissions meeting (in-person or Zoom), and an interview with Tweed’s CEO
- Applicants must meet all program requirements, including holding a high school diploma or GED
- The Admissions Committee will review all applicants and select one recipient
- This scholarship covers tuition for the Live Audio Production Certificate Program and is not redeemable for cash
APPLICATION TIMELINE
- Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by August 14, 2026
- The selected student must submit a $200 seat reservation fee to secure their spot and cover supply costs
- Submission of an application or entry does not guarantee admission or selection
