A Songwriting Workshop with Spencer Thomas

We all want to write better songs, but sometimes the expectation of making a song ‘good’ keeps us from writing at all. The goal of this 5 day workshop is to fully explore ideas without self-criticism and leave the editing for later. We’ll try a few different approaches, share what we’ve found and even work in small groups as we shape our ideas into fully crafted songs. On the last day, everyone will record a demo of a song written during the workshop and hopefully leave with an openness for new approaches to songwriting in the future.

This workshop is open for anyone ages 16 and up.

Application deadline is May 22. Payment will be taken after that deadline.
