Join Tweed Recording for a workshop to learn more about studio recording, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, home studio setups, and live sound!
Introductory Workshop: March 14 (full), April 10, May 2, May 29, June 12, June 13
Attendees will spend the morning in one of our studios learning about professional studio operation, microphones, and utilization of a large format console. In the afternoon, attendees will be introduced to music composition using Ableton Live. Apply using the link below.

Studio Recording: March 7
This session will focus on recording and offer more in-depth instruction on the operation of a large format console and recording concepts, such as gain vs volume, polarity, compression, and EQ. Students will record multiple instruments from a live musician. This workshop is only available for students who’ve completed an Introductory Workshop. Home Studio: March 21
During this session, we will walk attendees through the basics of setting up a home studio, including sound treatment and gear and equipment purchases. This session is only available for students who’ve completed an Intro Session. Please email Melissa to sign up for this session.

Build your own Sample Library Workshop: March 21
This hands-on audio production workshop will teach students to record, design, and organize their very own sample libraries! We will capture one-shot samples, including single drum hits, instrumental notes, found sounds, and more. Then we’ll head into our DAW lab where students will learn how to edit, process, categorize, and save their samples for future use in their own music productions. By the end of the session, students will leave with a collection of ready-to-use sounds and the skills to keep expanding their own libraries! Intro to Live Sound: March 28
What does it take to create a good sounding concert? This introductory workshop will address gainstaging, microphones, mic placement, stage plots, and professionalism. Apply using the link below.

House of Worship 101: April 23
Join us for a conversation about the common audio challenges that houses of worship face. We’ll cover everything from personal monitoring systems and wireless mics to working with musical directors and choirs! Apply using the link below.
